I use my tractor to plant, hill and harvest my potatoes, but this year the potato beetle is doing its best to decimate my crop. I really don't want to spray my organic potatoes, but I may have to reconsider this year. What do you organic potato growers use to prevent the emergence of the potato beetle after planting, and what do you use to kill off an infestation? The diatomacous earth has been a failure for me.
Also, what do you use to treat the potato seed to prevent common diseases?
