If you are having problems with any of the hydraulic kickers then a part is broken or out of adjustment. They are simple to operate but like anything, read the manual, and grease the thing. Sometimes the main spring breaks. Sometimes the small reset springs break. Ive had the throwing cylinder seal blow out. But they are over 40 years old and tossed thousands of bales a year, very good record. I shorten up the bale length on 2nd cut alfalfa and go about 8 inches longer for straw and dont change the trip setting. Works perfect.
