I had Carpal Tunnel surgery in both hands in 2000 and it did NOTHING, now worse arthritis 24/7 pain ever. Cannot work with hands hardly at all anymore. Blame it on 35 Years of working in manufacturing and engineering. Was a CNC Machinist/Programmer since 1975. Don't let them (docs) fool you. Of course they want to do the surgery; they get kickbacks from insurance companies. Ditto with my gall bladder. Got two docs - one said nothing wrong with it, other said yes, we need to get that out now. I opted to have it removed while they did my Roux En Y surgery. Still have the pain. AMA is a joke.
