Our Eagles have left or will very soon headed north.
In the 70's there were 3 or 4 known nesting pairs of Eagles in Louisiana. Today we have over 600 active nest sites. Only Florida has more nest sites.
They arrive every fall; nest over the winter; and leave late spring. With radio tracking they have tracked our nesting pairs over 1000 miles well into Canada during the summer.
