D2 in the casting code means the block casting was designed in 1972, N means designed by the tractor division and L means used as an industrial engine. Of course 6015 is an engine block and G is the revision. I would say this is consistent with a 4 cyl 192 CID engine removed from an industrial application such as a chipper, generator, water pump, or what not and transplanted into your tractor.
