Was coming across mid-Michigan today on a state highway (M-46) and came up behind what looked like a M-DOT truck, orange, festooned with yellow strobes and LED flashers. Had a square tank on the bed and was pulling a small trailer. Sign on the back of truck said water so assume it was water! Anyway, about every quarter of a mile or so, it would squirt a shot of water, probably a quart or two and keep on rolling, running about 45mph. Reminded me of someone squirting a shot with a garden hose. Under or in front of right trailer wheel only. I followed him for probably 25 miles before we parted ways, I was towing a cargo trailer and didn't want to risk passing.
I've no idea what he was up to. Wonder if any of the much wisdomed folks here want to venture an explanation.
