I agree with Break you are probably looking at the air cleaner. The cup attached to the bottom with two clamps is filled with engine oil as the oil-bath filter. As a courtesy, Break also linked you to new parts you can get here at YT. The cup has a cork gasket on the inner lip groove. I'd just buy new, I don't muck with JB Weld. but your call. We'll help ya out now, but you need to get the Essential Manuals if'N ya wanna be a FORD TRACTOR OWNER. They are the best investments you can make for your tractor. Forgive me if you are a newbie and don't have them already; no forgiveness if you don't. I fail to understand how one can not have them.
