I bought Costco aids and they were not real effective. I finally went to an ear ,nose and throat specialist and had my ears tested and also had an MRI and it turns out radiation and chemo around the neck cancer caused auditory neuropathy. So I went to a professional hearing aid facility and had the aids reset and use an app on my phone to set according to the noise levels. Not perfect but I can hear better. Take home message is go to hearing aid specialist and have you aids set and get an app on your phone.
