So what is your actual tire size now? I have seen Case 300 tractors with 28 inch rear tires and also 38 inch rear tires but the 38 inch were narrower than the 28 inch. If you curently have the 38 inch in a 12.4 tire and go up to a 14,9 tire your speed will increase to where you will have to go to a lower gear for same speed. The 28 inch would not speed up tractor as much as the 38 inch tire will and if the 38 inch and going that much bigger you will be flying in high gear.
