Take a pail of that Murphy mounting compound slap it in till the gap is full and put air to it. Couple years ago we put new rear tires on the combine they would not seat with ether a strap or anything else we tried for half a day to get them. Got about a gallon pail of that placed in the crack of about 2 inches aired right up no messing around and wiped off the compound as it moved out got almost all of it back in the pail when I was done. Still using that pail and have about half of it left. You can ad water to it in a spray bottle and make a spray lube for tire beads to dismount or mount out of it also. I just used it to lube the beads on a couple 18.4-38's I put on new this winter. Sure do slide on easier. I do use a vise grip on the lip of the rim to hold the bead from sliding around as I go though.
