I'm pondering doing a trade of my JD AW 13' disk for a 1974 IH 470 at 16" manual fold. IH priced at $2500. Looks good all through, reputable seller. My AW also nice, new blades, bearings, shafts on fronts 500 acres ago. Bought this disk to pair with a 3020 but have another 20 hp now (5510) and a few more feet would be helpful, also the AW not terribly aggressive on cornstalks.
With these items in mind, could sure use some advice on this comparison. The last IH disk I owned was a 10' 37 pulled with a WD45. I'd max out at $1000 boot for the IH if it's right.
