Being a Ford man I will likely catch heck on the N Board for this but my worst was an 8N Ford. I had a good running 2N but wanted the better features the 8N had - a real drawbar, position control, both brake pedals on the same side, etc. I bought a smokey 8N and swapped engines. Got the now smokey 2N put together and sold it immediately after. Got the 8N put together and tried using it. The reverse on those little tractors is SO blankety blank FAST that I still wonder who in their right mind would design a tractor like that. Reverse is faster than 3rd. You can not back up without constantly slipping the clutch. Anyway, I sold it soon after and bought a 3 cylinder 2000. And didn't look back...
