My John Deere 5510 seems to be stuck in 4 wheel drive. When I got the tractor a few years ago the 4wd shifter was very stiff. I was able to get in fwd and just left it, because it can be full time on the farm, what I bought it for. I now need to do a 7-8 mile road trip and concerned about fwd at 20 mph.
Is there something simple to check? If you're going to tell me anything involving the cab coming off, not happening. I'll just. deal with it. Not pulling hard on it. Don't want to force making a bigger problem. Thoughts?
