I've never sent one in. Yes, we have some land. No, we don't farm. But we have a small garden.....sometimes. They think they have the RIGHT to know all about our garden, what we raise, and where it goes, not to mention a lot of other non-land-use info.

And yes, I have sent them notification in the past that we are not a farm. They don't care. Still I get threats of jail time and fines if I don't tell them what they want to know, even if they already have the whole short story.
