Looks like plowed ground to me. Not saying that a plow was used. Just, that it's what it looks like.
I agree with the post that suggests that you can't tell what equipment was used just by looking at the after math.
Plowing is something that is not done much anymore with no till being so common just about everywhere. It would be a rarity to see a plowed feild in most places.
But, it wouldn't have to be. I've seen ground that has been hit with a weather proofer or other things, that can leave ground looking almost like it was plowed.
One things for sure. It was hit with some heavy tillage.
