What equipment tiled this field?

It looks like Ruffles chips, it has
ridges.

Is this some kind of a disk?

This is something new in Terre Haute.

I enhanced the image and focused on the ridged section. It sure looks like a conventional moldboard plow made those ridges.

Tiling is done by very big equipment but after it is done you can't see anything that would indicate what equipment did the job.

Looks like plowed ground to me. Not saying that a plow was used. Just, that it's what it looks like.

I agree with the post that suggests that you can't tell what equipment was used just by looking at the after math.

Plowing is something that is not done much anymore with no till being so common just about everywhere. It would be a rarity to see a plowed feild in most places.

But, it wouldn't have to be. I've seen ground that has been hit with a weather proofer or other things, that can leave ground looking almost like it was plowed.

One things for sure. It was hit with some heavy tillage.

It's been plowed with a turning plow that only a very few of the experienced few could adjust to do such a fantastic job. I really don't get ur question?
Admiration should be bestowed on this individual!

Photo below shows one of our new club members who until this year had never driven a tractor in his life let alone plowed anything. So much for the experience angle. And believe me, that soil is rock hard. Mind you, a lot of our members would claim he has the correct colour green to get the job done ..... ha!

My guess is one of the new giant tools that have discs in front followed by Ripper teeth followed by more discs and then heavy drag teeth. they are about 35 feet long and need a minimum of 600 horse to pull. Just what every small farmer needs under 5000 acres.

Appears to have ripped by a ripper with 7winged tip points on 30centers with covering disc on the back. The ripper shanks make the depressions.Appears to have had a hard pan by amount 0f large clods. Just waiting for mother nature to dissolve them this winter. Looks good.

Tile plowed in would leave big ridges you could not drive over well. Tillage would leave it pretty flat like you see it. big difference in the work there between tiling and tillage.

Looks like it was chisel plowed or ripped while there was some frost in the ground. Here in Wi ground will look like that after doing so with an inch or two of frost.
