Whatever they use at the factory that makes propane tanks ain't worth beans in my opinion! I had to use a big pipe wrench and a 12 foot cheater pipe to get the valve off of my propane tank! You may think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. I had to find a larger pipe to fit over a smaller cheater pipe, to get enough length! I just used cheap clear house silicone to put the valve back on. I bet that in 20 years, it will come off as easy as the day I put it on! I use that stuff on every nut and bolt that I put together especially a steel bolt into aluminium! I changed a thermostat in my car several years ago. I thought I would never get the bolts out of the aluminum. I put a new thermostat in at that time. Well, the other day, I had to put in a new thermostat. Guess what? The bolts unscrewed as if if had just put them in! I use it on lug nut too. I figure that even if the nut came loose, it wouldn't back all the way off.
