I contacted a couple of distributor rebuilders. No shaft available. Nothing compatible on eBay or FB marketplace. I even sifted through a lot of Willys Jeep sites (same IAT-4405 distributor). So I began putting mine back together and noticed the top (points cam) shaft was not running true. Instead of having a lot of slop, it was bent. Two lobes would open the points the .020 as set, and the other two would go out beyond .040. So with a couple of deftly placed whacks with a lead hammer, both shafts are running true, and the points gap stays at .020. I built a little stainless retainer for the vacuum advance plate, and finished up putting it back in. The old Massey 101 Jr. started right up with very minimal adjusting to the timing. I moved some snow, and have more to move today. I'm going to keep an eye out for a NOS shaft if one becomes available, just in case. Thank you all for your continuing support, and phenomenal advice. steve
