The gas tanks on the booster rockets held 537,000 gallons liquid hydrogen. If that costs the same as diesel it would be 5.59 a gallon here. I would guess liquid hydrogen a little higher than that. I think that fuel got the artemis to 17,500 mph , then the boosters were jettisoned. They had to use other engines on the space capsule to get to the 22,500 mph needed to head toward the moon. The announcer at liftoff said the speed of artemis was 128 mph ----30 seconds after lift off and accelerating. Well, I guess so. I think the spacecraft will be at the moon in 7 days.
