I have a few and they're great, each one has had higher resolution and smaller camera diameter.
The latest is HD and 3.9mm camera which is small enough to fit through a diesel glow plug hole. Around $50 on scamazon.
They are also handy for machining with geriatric eyes, you can put the camera on a mag base indicator mount and get it in close to the cutter area to see what you can no longer readily focus on. Epoxy magnets to the back of the display unit and you can stick it on the machine in a convenient location as well.
I recommend sticking with the units that have their own display so you aren't tying up your vastly more expensive phone and risking damaging it, nor installing apps of questionable origin on it.
