You're doing better than I ever got out of a 4dlt.
Switched over to (I think) group 65 automotive batteries in my Ford thousand series tractors. But about that time I also started getting rid of the Lucas generators and installing alternators with tach drives. Believe the alternators do a better job keeping the batteries charged/topped off.
So I'm getting 6-7 years out of tractor batteries now.
Might do just as well if I stuck a 4DLT back in them, but what I have is working.
