Hard to beat an older narrow front tractor for cultivating veggie crops. C or Super C Farmall tractors work great and will handle a small tongue pulled bushog well. Wide front Super A or Allis B tractors are great also. Eight acres is not a lot to take care of and any of these tractors equipped with correct sized implements will work well. When looking to purchase it would be to your advantage to get a tractor with correct implements (cultivator, plow and disc) if possible. If looking to expand acreage in the future you might want to look at a slightly larger unit.
