If muddy wet the narrow front can sink in some and plow with the front wheels though if that wet you don't need to be there. A wide front will go along better in muddy snowy conditions yet we have not really had a problem with a narrow front in many years with those problems. Bigger concern over time is the wheel bearings will collect mud between the wheels in clay type spoils. All the rollover stories are just that old wives tales. We are not flat and not all real hilly and nefer tipped on over using it yet in 75 or 80 years.
