There is still a bit of ploughing done around here, but not much, and I have given up on the plough now also. Just takes too much fuel. Wheat goes not till into soybean stubble, zero dollars spent. Soybeans go into last years corn field , for me two passes with 14 foot wide high speed tillage piece, and use conventional planter. Maybe use 25% of the fuel I would with conventional tillage methods . I have gone to watch a few ploughing matches, not very exciting stuff
