I'm slow completing projects. I have an Oliver 88 that had a 77 gas motor in it when I bought it. I looked for years for an 88 gas motor for it and finally found one 6 or 8 years ago and brought it home. The water pump was busted, so I got a rebuilt from Napa and left it in the box till I was ready to use it. I did mention that I was slow completing projects, didn't I? I finally put the 88 motor in this year with the new water pump. I got the radiator on today, filled it with antifreeze and started it and pulled it outside and let it run for a while. I walked by and looked at it and antifreeze is leaking out of the weep hole. The pump turned over good and smooth, I'm guessing the seal has deteriorated and I'm pretty sure the guys a Napa will laugh at me if I ask about a replacement pump for one that I can't even remember when I bought it. What are the odds it will stop leaking after while when the seal gets used to being wet?? Can you even buy just the seal for it??

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches.
