I'm sorry but this is a more than a bit unfair to whomever it was directed at. We can't read your mind. We can only go by what is in the post to judge your level of experience.
You did not mention anything about checking battery connections until pressed about it. All you said in the initial post was "It doesn't start." This forum gets hundreds of posts like that per year from people with little to no tractor/mechanical knowledge or experience.
The key switch is totally out in left field. That's the LAST thing you'd expect to be the problem in a "no start with a click" situation.
