Get ready for some more of that. High gas prices is only the beginning of the wrath thats beginning to take place. High electric bills, and lots of power outages is next.
The grid is NO WAY prepared for EVs and the extra power it'll take to charge them all, once they become the norm and mostly everyone is driving them.
Nobody seems to be talking about the downside of EV's. I guess we'll here more about THAT, when the big strain hits the electric industry. Right now, not enough people have EV's to create much of strain on the electric grid and power supply. But just watch what happens when they do and the big strain hits (everyone more less all EV's).
Anyone who thinks electricity is going to stay the same price, and the demand for it will stay the same, is ... well,,, you know.
