Quote: CVPost-Tim(NY) (quoted from post at 00:17:16 06/24/22) I bought a used pickup with a bedliner that I would like to remove so I can put a cap on it. It has a separate cap around the edge that appears glued down. Has anybody done this? How hard is it to get this stuff off?
I don't understand why you need to remove the bedliner to install the cap. Or do you mean removing just the plastic cap on the top of the box sides?
My '97 F150 has that plastic cap on the top of the box sides with the bedliner tucked underneath the inside lip of it.
I didn't do a thing with it, I just put the cap on and clamped it down, 3 clamps per side.
It has stayed put with no trouble for 5 years now.
