It has been 19 years ago but we used the 20.00 oil change(tax included)as advertisement to get people in the door.We checked everything from lights, to pulling two wheels for a brake inspection. Newer cars and regular customers wern t checked as close, but oil, grease, windshield washer fluid and tire pressures were checked and topped off for everyone. If we found something that needed attention, we would take you to your car on the lift and show you what we found. One of the funnest things was a guy that came in and priced a set of Michelins for his Lincoln. He left and came back about two hours later. As we were mounting them he told the story that he went to Sears and they beat our price. When he went to pay they had added valve stems, balancing, and disposal. They said the would match our price, but he made them remount his old tires and came back to us! If we gave you a price for anything, that is what you paid.(somethings I just couldn't give a price on, and I said so up front)

I have been told a diesel holds up better than a gasoline engine as far a wear, tear, neglect and abuse. Since I am looking at older tractors that have probably been through it all, is it better to buy diesel? I do expect to have to do a good bit of work on
