When we were 16 and one of us got the parents car Friday night we all chipped in a quarter and drove around the block all night for what gas that purchased...........Of course candy bars were a nickel then (10 cents for a mounds).........local theatre was 15 cents for kids quarter for adults popcorn nickel a sack dime a box..In HS I ran the projectors got $3.00 for a movie.. Earned a quarter a night helpjng neighbor on a rural paper route .....but most fun was helping put up hay at my Uncles FOR FREE but got a good meal Showin our ages lol
