If I use Mobil 1 and Motorcraft filters I can do a 5qt oil change for under $30. The good cars get that. Mobil 1 Can be bought at Walmart for $25/5qts, and if I buy a couple jugs it's free shipping to the house. Buy Motorcraft filters on Amazon, our vehicles only use 2 different filters, bought a case (12) of each for a little over $3/filter.
If I use Harvest King (Rural King house brand) It comes in $10 less. The beaters and lawnmowers get that.
I can do a change in less time than it takes me to go somewhere and have it done.
A couple disclaimers...I have a lift, Makes it easy to do a tire rotation at the same time. And with the chain hay baler, manure spreader, etc. I have plenty of uses for the old oil.
