Just letting everyone who answered my questions know I ended up trading the JD 3430 Swather for a 2011 Massey Ferguson 1372 Disc Mower with Steel Rolls. I think the steel rolls will help with my early season brome drying. I bought the one with the 2 point hook up. I wanted a drawbar hook up, and there was a twin sister that had one at a different dealership, but the drawbar machine was 4 years older and $2000.00 higher. I could see no difference in the appearance of either machine. Both had been through the Dealer's shops, and had new knives, oils, greased, and ready to go to the field. I asked the dealer to price me a draw bar hitch to go with the machine, but at $5000.00 I decided to just use the 2 point..lol. I hope I don't regret getting rid of a self propelled machine. Thanks for all the help and advice - Bob
