But around here the local place that treats with CCA will not do small lumber. They have 2x6 but it is 16 and 20 feet long. No 8 and 10 feet stuff. No 2x4 or 2x8. They only sell what you would use to make a retaining wall or boat dock. And all of it is number 1 wood.
Big box stores were complaining small sizes competes with them unfairly and entices residential sales. And that is against the law. So they only sell big or odd stuff like 6x6 and fence post. They sell 2x6 because that is used as the walking platform of a boat dock.
