I am only familiar with the Power Trol on the very late A which might be the same as the Power Trol on a 60 only the 60 has live power. With dummy plugs in the back, meaning the L port and the one below it you should have rock shaft action. We had a loader plumbed to the side port on a 51 A with dummy plugs in both ports in the back. The rock shaft and loader both worked at the same time. To isolate the rock shaft so it worked without the loader raising too I put a shutoff valve in the pressure hose going to the loader. That way I could raise the loader half way up like you want to do, shut the valve in the pressure hose to the loader to hold the loader up and then the rock shaft could be used as normal. The loader was taken off the A fifty years ago so my memory has had 50 years to lose touch with what I actually did to make this work.
