Powertrol selector valve

Hi,

I have a JD60 wide front with a loader on already and am trying to run a 3pt also. I have seen other discussions here referencing a selector valve for the power trol that replaces the dummy plug in the receptacle with the L next to it. I have my loader plugged into the side ports now. Where can I pick up one of these selector valves as my tractor has plugs in both outlets on the front? I dont really need to use both the loader and 3pt at the same time as long as I can lock the loader half way up while using the 3pt.

I am only familiar with the Power Trol on the very late A which might be the same as the Power Trol on a 60 only the 60 has live power. With dummy plugs in the back, meaning the L port and the one below it you should have rock shaft action. We had a loader plumbed to the side port on a 51 A with dummy plugs in both ports in the back. The rock shaft and loader both worked at the same time. To isolate the rock shaft so it worked without the loader raising too I put a shutoff valve in the pressure hose going to the loader. That way I could raise the loader half way up like you want to do, shut the valve in the pressure hose to the loader to hold the loader up and then the rock shaft could be used as normal. The loader was taken off the A fifty years ago so my memory has had 50 years to lose touch with what I actually did to make this work.

If you post this question on the John Deere section on this site you will get the attention of guys who know exactly what to do instead of someone like me who only knows 3/4 of what to do. LOL
