Middle top of pix the cable mount is broke. It has a cable for the top and bottom latch.
Just hope you never have to work on the latch system on a Honda Ridgeline its a engineering marvel. It has 4 latches and a lock cylinder latch... This is my first and last. The tailgate opens normal and can be opened like a door WTF who needs dat:( Well the old gal that got it from her brother. As I got deeper it had been wrecked I worked hours getting it to time right so it would open like a DOOR... Every time I thought I had it right when you opened it like a door the WHOLE tailgate would come complete detached for the vhehical.
