For what it is worth, I think that the real issue is CHOICE. It is not reasonable to expect that everybody has embraced the digital age. Also, many digital ways of doing things are not necessarily BETTER than the old ways.
Personally, I will hold off on getting a smart phone for as long as I can. Why? Because I simply do not need all of the bells and whistles that come with one of those phones. I got a phone for basic communication. That is what I want, that is what I need. The rest I do NOT need.
I also notice a LOT of those flat phones have broken glass. Mine would be one of them IF I had one of them.
Among other things, I resent being somewhat forced (coerced?) into getting a fancy phone that I do not need or want just so that I can order a meal.
