Around here most landscapers, lawn mowing services, contractors, highway crews and some farmers move snow in the off season. They do it just to have something for their employees to do in the off season so that they can keep the better ones. The owners all hate it. They can't get any employees to do the hand shoveling so they have to do that themselves while the employees run the equipment. Whenever there is a breakdown the owner has to crawl on his back to fix it while the employee sits in the heated cab and plays with his 'phone.
