3ET batteries around here are hard to find and come in a lot of different amp ratings. I found CarQuest (Interstate I think) for 125.00/each with 460 CA (each) which should give me 920 CA total, which should be plenty for this 4 cylinder, 8 valve diesel. At least I believe so.
Only other batteries I could find available local are the JD batteries at 153.00 each but have 750 CA for a total of 1,500 CA total. Would this be overkill for this tractor? Or should I spring extra for the JD batteries. I am in Texas, so not as cold as in the north for winter activities.
