The problem with any battery powered tool, the tool will outlast the battery. Then you find out how much the battery costs, you may pitch the tool. I have many battery tools of different brands, and all use the same battery, 20v dewalt and an adapter. I wouldn't attempt to cut a log with my 20v dewalt saw. Does a good job on the small stuff. 5 to 6 inch max. I sharpen the chain before using.
