My Neighbour Lady had purchased a new 1998 Lincoln . The vehicles battery was going dead.... Before she returned it to the dealer, I was asked to diagnose the DRAIN...as the dealer ship was treating her as a dumb Blonde...
With a battery cable disconnected and a voltmeter installed.... We started to remove and replace one FUSE at a time..... When a specific fuse was removed we lost a reading on the VOLTMETER we drove her car to a dealer. I explained exactly where the fuse was that curtailed any battery draw...
NOW..The dealer demanded my credentials so as to prove I was an idiot! I left.... the Neighbour Lady...she ripped a new aarrrss in the Shop Workorder Writer... She had her car returned with an apology...
