Mark .... I guess leaving a car running or with the keys in it makes it a target, like you say the newer ones are tricky to heist. If my son's SUV is running and you open the door and don't have the fob on your person, the engine shuts off somehow. But I think a lot of tricky/illegal software is on the market to somehow bypass all that stuff. In Canada, here re the top ten targets for car thieves .... all relatively new, not sure when this list was published. Nobody wants my 2002 Dodge Caravan ...... ha!
