Insurance companies, and a lot of other places actually, are wanting to go/pushing for paperless. For the consumer, that entails auto-pay and no billing. All notifications come by e-mail. For alot of places, the bulk of thier customer pool has went to this. So, mailing paper billing to a few remaining paper billing customers, is viewed by the company as a un-needed expense. And apparently, are now passing that expense on to the customer. My insurance companies paper bill me far in advance. 2 months in some cases. I won't sign up for thier auto-pay. I'm not going to pay my high dollar premium payments that far in advance, if auto withdrawal happens at the same time thier paper billing goes out. Stands to reason that it would. And I'm not signing up for that.
