Ordered a Chineseum carburetor for an engine I'm farting around with.
UPS is using private contractors who deliver packages in their own vehicles. Last several deliveries have been at 6pm or later.
As of 9pm, it wasn't here so I figured it got bumped to the next day and I locked up and turned off the porch light.
At 9:11 I got a notice that it had been delivered. Checked by the side door where they usually leave stuff. Nope. Checked front door, all around the garage and anywhere else I could think of that they might have left it. Nope.
Figured driver had fibbed and I might see it today. Wandered around again this morning and checked neighbors on either side and the abandoned house behind me. Nope.
Went down to grab some styrofoam out of Dale the Builder's barn and there it was, sitting in front of the man door on the far end of the barn. Ooooooooooooooooo-kay. Whatever. At least I got it and don't have to screw around with lost delivery, refunds and re-orders.
The great big 2 Notta Road sign on the corner of the garage must've confused him. Or he believed his GPS.
