From one eyesore to another. Such a waste of ground to put them on. The cost to dispose of the blades is enormous with no possible reuse of them at this time. Would seem like they could be glued together to make a real nice big shed for machinery or cattle or put them up for wind break along the interstate in WY like those snow fences they use. Should be a better use than just bury them in a hole to be a future problem with some environmental deal.

Ordered a Chineseum carburetor for an engine I'm farting around with.

UPS is using private contractors who deliver packages in their own vehicles. Last several deliveries have been at 6pm or later.

As of 9pm, it wasn't here so I figured it got bumped to the next day and I locked up and turned off the porch light.

At 9:11 I got a notice that it had been delivered. Checked by the side door where they usually leave stuff. Nope. Checked front door, all around the garage and anywhere else I could think of that they might have left it. Nope.

Figured driver had fibbed and I might see it today. Wandered around again this morning and checked neighbors on either side and the abandoned house behind me. Nope.

Went down to grab some styrofoam out of Dale the Builder's barn and there it was, sitting in front of the man door on the far end of the barn. Ooooooooooooooooo-kay. Whatever. At least I got it and don't have to screw around with lost delivery, refunds and re-orders.

The great big 2 Notta Road sign on the corner of the garage must've confused him. Or he believed his GPS.

They're getting recycled around here.A friend with a log truck gets called to load the trailer when they get enough to make a load.He thought they were just being dumped somewhere, and figured he could invent a use for a few of them.Nope, they wanted them,he couldn't have any. They are being ground up and used as a lightweight filler to make pads to go under generators, propane tanks, pool pumps and filters, etc. The product looks like a concrete pad,but you can carry a 2X2 two inch thick pad in one hand. They are not something a regular scrap place is going to take though,it is more specialized.Just like the solar panels.Every part gets recycled, but it is done by companies that specializes in that kind of stuff, not a regular scrap dealer.Like anything else.it just may not be feasible in all parts of the country yet.

I've looked on the porch at 10pm and nothing. Looked out there at 630am the next morning and a package would be there.

I'm betting someone will figure out a way to recycle materials and make a profit.

Already recycling EV batteries.
