Chrysler products had hydraulic brakes in 31 or before. My Dad had 31 Chrysler and a Plymouth made into a pickup later on. My 37 Ford had mechanical , ( ice would freeze them solid) and it also had the single horizontal leaf spring for that lumber wagon solid ride.
