Replacement solenoids are of poor quality. Nowhere near the quality the factory ones were. But, most of the factory ones have been changed out by now. Chances are, your replacing one, that has already been replaced before. My point is, the replacement ones just aren't going to last. I realize your sending this one down the road, and would just like it to work now. But on your other tractors you keep, just be prepared for the burden of replacing them, or jump the posts with a screw driver. Mine get the, jump the posts with screwdriver, and the re-manufacturers get, the FINGER!! I have had alot of trouble with re-manufactured key switches and/or starter buttons too. Same deal.
