I finally got it back together correctly, took many, many trial assemblies, but I finally got it. It will go back many ways, but only work when it's right.
I tried asking for help from the dealer, they told me they had no information, the unit was not serviceable, they never try to seal them just replace, and yes they have them in stock... For about twice the value of the forklift!!!!!
Keep changing the positions of each component, I can't tell you what I finally did to fix it, that was 20+ years ago. Document what you do so you don't waste time doing it wrong, take pictures. Hint, examine the mating surfaces carefully, you might see some rust stains or paint markings that will give some clue how it originally was assembled.
