Right after the Clear fuel came out in 1992, troopers would sit across from auction sales and stop farmers as they left the sale , and dip their tanks, because they knew these guys fueled their trucks with fuel that was on the farm. Couldnt touch them on private property, but once they were on the road, they could stop them for any reason they wanted.
