JFK I was a freshman in a rural high school. Word of the assignation came over the school intercom. I didn't witness it, but in another class some fool stood up and cheered. A big farm boy got up and cold cocked the cheering traitor. He was down without a count. The school let out early, and I went to my after school job. My employer met me at the door and said his business was closed for the day in mourning of the national tragedy.
